STRUCTURES
At Berkshire and Derby, students will take all core classes all three
years of middle school. 6th grade students will rotate through four
different electives in 10 week increments. The students do not
select these courses as all students will participate in the same
four courses (art, skills for living, physical education, and
introduction to engineering technology). 7th and 8th grade
students will select three elective courses in addition to their core
classes. World language is not a core class and will need to be
selected as an elective.
